It’s high time for some serious self care!

Did you know that almost half of the world’s population currently has mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, stress related pain and/or sleep problems? Not surprising, when you see what’s going on in the world these days- in fact I think that people who are no affected by this are the ones with the real mental health problems.

I’m a social activist and I know a lot of other people who fight for a better world as well and most of them are close to a burn-out sometimes. Which is understandable, but not good for anyone except the powers that be.

So how can we get back to better mental health? For me the first thing is to allow myself to be silly every now and then, no need to be serious all of the time. You can get involved and at the same time take care of yourself – when you are down and out, who will do the fighting for justice and peace?

We started this platform in 2020 as mental health was at a low then due to Covid and we think it’s more relevant now than ever before. Expect interviews with people who tell us how they make themselves feel better again after feeling beaten down due to the bad news, scores of videos involving kittens, baby elephants and other subjects that make us giggle and feel happy and articles about devices and apps that can help you relax physically, as this also has an effect on your mental health. And I’m not talking vibrators here. See? It works already! Please join us on this mission, send us your stories about positive projects and share the platform wherever you can.
