A fantastic community driven event took place in Portobello (Edinburgh) from December 6-12th, when people decorated their windows with mostly repurposed materials such as plastic bottles, cartons, cereal boxes and colourful tissue paper under the theme ‘Stained Glass’.
The idea of ‘Winter Wanderland’ is to cheer up people in these dark days. You could take a tour along the decorated windows at night- and now everybody can see the windows in this video as well.
A brilliant idea, which we hope will be replicated in some form or shape worldwide.
