Tiggi Hawke: “”I feel very fortunate to have been able to create this acoustic video for one of my singles called NYC. Personally, I think it’s one of the most beautiful visuals that I have been lucky enough to have worked on and I am proud to have released. The beauty behind that video includes without a doubt, the wonderful people who worked with me to make this crazy neon-daydream of mine come to life. The collaboration and sharing of ideas and talents was such a huge part of what you see as a final piece and adds to the beauty that I see and feel as I watch it. For me, beauty goes beyond the obvious and way beneath the surface, whether it’s a piece of art, a person or a place; beauty has so many forms and finding it in other people/places/things and yourself can bring so much love and joy to the world. Lockdown has taken many opportunities from many people and it has been very difficult in all aspects of life but what it actually gave me is time to look into myself and be very introspective. Trust me, it wasn’t always enjoyable to look into myself at things I deemed ugly or wrong, but learning to begin to accept myself and share that love with other people is something I am truly grateful for. It’s an ongoing process, definitely not an overnight transformation!”
